Libby Vedder

Originally from the Midwest, Libby grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison — a far cry from small town living. Upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin, she ventured into the woods and followed the Appalachian Trail north for six months — and her life was forever changed. Mountains became a non-negotiable part of daily life and prompted her move west.

After a stint in Teton Valley/Jackson, Libby landed in Lander with her now husband, where she began work as a landscape architect and retail shop manager, sprinkled with volunteer work. The volunteer opportunities fostered Libby’s deep connection to this community and established roots for her growing family that now includes two little boys.

As previous commitments come to a close, including six years serving on the board for the International Climbers Festival, Libby is excited to join this wonderful group of women to carry on Wometum’s mission.
