Tara is a Wyoming Native who grew up on the Northeast corner of Wyoming. After completing her degree from the University of Wyoming she resided in Sheridan for 8 years where she worked at the Wyoming Girls' School as a Case Manager for the Department of Family Services. Her husband's works took a turn to Albuquerque, NM where they resided for a short stint before moving back to Wyoming; landing in Lander. During their time in Albuquerque they welcomed a daughter into their lives whom they adore. Tara is also trained as a behavioral specialist and has applied those skills in the criminal justice world for 15 years. In her free time she prioritizes her family, friends, and living life to its fullest. She is also an avid reader, swimmer, and nature lover. Tara has a deep passion for frosting community amongst her peers. Tara loves building connections and has a passion for all things "people" whether that be an impromptu meet up or a planned gathering. She loves hosting events and building foundations of support that others can rely upon. Tara was part of Cohort 8 and is thrilled to sit on the board for the Lander Womentum Program.
